Timișoara Hosts the Second Robotics Demo of the Year
Event Set to Take Place at the West University of Timișoara
The upcoming event will feature 32 teams from the BRD FIRST Tech Challenge Romania.
Enthusiastic students passionate about robotics are gearing up for the National Championship. On Saturday, January 19, the West University of Timișoara will host the second robotics demonstration of the year, showcasing no fewer than 32 teams participating in the BRD FIRST Tech Challenge Romania program, organized by the „Nație Prin Educație” Association. These training events are crucial as they provide students with the opportunity to assess the performance of their robots in preparation for the third season of this renowned competition.

The teams set to compete in the demo include: Xeo (Alba Iulia), Team Davos (Timișoara), WizzTech (Timișoara), TeamOriginals (Timișoara), CSH (Timișoara), Harambe Cartel (Arad), Muschetarii (Arad), WireImpulse (Arad), DeltaForce (Arad), Bolts and Gears (Bistrița), Rubix (Blaj), Bots Brain (Calafat), HYPE (Cluj-Napoca), Soft Hoarders (Craiova), RaSky (Craiova), NRG Robotix (Deva), DecebalTech (Deva), Cyber 2.0 Warriors (Deva), The Emperor (Drobeta-Turnu Severin), RobotX (Hunedoara), RobotY (Hunedoara), PEAKY Robotics (Ineu), Little Future Robots (Jimbolia), LTCDMNrobotics (Moldova Noua), GoRobo (Oradea), Wafy (Petrila), Bionic Royals (Râmnicu Vâlcea), Gear Maniacs (Sibiu), Robotica CNRG (Slatina), Tea-Borgs (Târgu Jiu), Bliss (Timișoara), and Brainstorms (Zalău).
Upcoming Competitions
Following this demonstration, additional matches will take place in Cluj and Bucharest, intensifying the competition as students prepare for the regional qualifiers in February. The National Finals are scheduled to occur at the Polyvalent Hall in Bucharest from March 22 to 24, where the top four teams will earn the opportunity to compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge World Finals in Detroit, USA.
