Will Smith și Martin Lawrence revoluționează Miami Beach cu noul film din seria „Bad Boys”

Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, and Nicky Jam have transformed Miami Beach with the premiere of the latest installment in the action saga, ‘Bad Boys For Life,’ which hits theaters this Friday, according to EFE.
„We had to return to Miami, where it all began,” stated Will Smith, reprising his role as Mike Lowrey. He was joined by Martin Lawrence, who returns as Marcus Burnett.
The duo was greeted by hundreds of fans who gathered on Lincoln Road Sunday evening, eager to catch a glimpse of the stars. The excitement was palpable, drowning out the reggaeton beats that heralded the film’s premiere.
Fresh from Europe and thrilled to be back in the city where much of the filming took place, Smith and Lawrence enjoyed a Cuban coffee on the red carpet, emphasizing that the film’s message is that „everyone needs a soulmate.”
The „Latino” flavor is prominently featured in the third film of the ‘Bad Boys’ series, starting with its soundtrack. Several representatives of the Spanish-language urban music scene, including Manuel Turizo, Mottif y Maffio, and notably Dominican-American singer Nicky Jam, who plays the antagonist Zway-lo, graced the red carpet.
Tracks by Daddy Yankee, Nicky Jam, and J Balvin are part of the ‘Bad Boys For Life’ soundtrack.
Dressed in a sharp tuxedo, which contrasted with the more casual outfits of the lead actors, Nicky Jam expressed his excitement, stating he was „very emotional.”
„Our music has often been marginalized; I used to think it was only for the underprivileged neighborhoods,” he shared. „This is my second film appearance, and representing a genre of music I helped create fills me with pride,” he added.
The Miami premiere, where much of the film’s action unfolds, marked the first showing on the American continent. Another premiere is scheduled for Tuesday in Los Angeles, following the film’s earlier presentation in Berlin.
‘Bad Boys For Life’ showcases the Miami police’s efforts to apprehend drug trafficker Armando Armas.
In addition to Nicky Jam, the cast includes Mexican actresses Paola Nunez and Kate del Castillo.
