Daikin Inaugurates Innovative Wall-Mounted Condensing Boiler

In a bid to enhance its presence in the heating and domestic hot water market, Daikin, the global frontrunner in air conditioning, has introduced its inaugural wall-mounted condensing boiler. Entirely designed and engineered by the Japanese manufacturer, this new boiler embodies Daikin’s hallmark innovative principles, merging cutting-edge condensing technology, intelligent control systems, and contemporary aesthetics to deliver heating and hot water solutions that are both efficient and reliable.

Expanding Market Reach in Romania

„With the launch of our first boiler, we aim to broaden our operations and market share for Daikin heating products in Romania. Our goal is to develop a product portfolio that aligns with our brand identity and values, while also providing efficient and cost-effective alternatives for both end-users and installers,” stated Daniel Vasile, Managing Director of Daikin Romania.

Two Distinct Models: D2CND and D2TND

The new Daikin boiler comes in two distinct models: the D2CND, designed for both space heating and domestic hot water, available in capacities of 24, 28, and 35 kW, and the D2TND, which focuses solely on space heating, with optional hot water heating via an external boiler, offering capacities ranging from 12 to 35 kW.

Compact Design Recognized for Excellence

This gas condensing boiler stands out not only for its performance but also for its appealing design. Weighing just 27 kg and measuring a mere 400 (W) x 256 (D) x 590 (H) mm, with a wall footprint of only 0.23 m² for the 24 kW model, it is the smallest wall-mounted boiler in Romania, making it ideal for even the tightest spaces. Its uniquely designed front panel and modern interface are user-friendly, while its compact size and straightforward connections facilitate easy installation, operation, and maintenance, with all components accessible from the front panel.

The Daikin gas condensing boiler has garnered accolades at two of the world’s most prestigious design competitions, winning the Design IF 2018 and the Reddot Product Design Award 2018.

Enhanced Comfort and Energy Savings with Daikin Technologies

Engineered as a more efficient and cost-effective solution, the new boiler employs state-of-the-art Daikin technologies to ensure users experience optimal comfort, energy efficiency, and reliability. Additionally, Daikin has prioritized quiet operation, achieved through soundproofing of the side panels and a wide modulation range of the fan, operating at a sound power level of just 39 dB(A).

Alongside the boiler’s launch, Daikin introduces the Daikin Eye, an integrated feature that monitors the boiler’s operational status, which will also be included in other heating products within their portfolio.

Convenient Control via Daikin Online Control Heating App

To meet modern demands, the Daikin boiler can be easily controlled via smartphone or tablet using the Daikin Online Control Heating app. Similar to other Daikin products, the app allows users to manage and schedule temperature settings and hot water supply, as well as monitor the boiler’s operational status.

„The optional integration of a LAN adapter enables customers to control and monitor their heating system remotely. Thus, using the Daikin Online Control Heating app, users can effortlessly create a comfortable indoor climate at any time,” added the company director.

Availability and Support

The latest addition to Daikin’s product lineup is available through two primary partners-Amber Technologies and Conexinstal-both of whom possess extensive experience in sales and providing necessary technical support services, including commissioning, maintenance, and warranty service.
