As of now, Zuckerberg is only outpaced by Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, and Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft. This shift in rankings occurred on Friday when Zuckerberg overtook Buffett in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

This marks the first instance where the top three richest individuals on the planet hail from the technology sector. Zuckerberg’s net worth is estimated at a staggering $81.6 billion. In comparison, Jeff Bezos holds a fortune of $142 billion, while Bill Gates, in second place, has an estimated wealth of $94 billion.
