The Timeless Appeal of the BMW 750iL E38

Among the vehicles utilized by the Munich-based manufacturer for their Individual catalog, the late ’90s 750iL stands out with a price tag nearing €40,000. Despite the recent launch of an upgraded version of the current Series 7, many enthusiasts still regard the E38 generation as the pinnacle of BMW’s luxury sedans.

A Glimpse into the Past

Manufactured in 1999, this particular 750iL played a significant role in the creation of the Individual catalog two decades ago. This historical context contributes to its extensive array of features, including a refrigerator compartment nestled in the rear bench and even a fax machine.

Luxurious Features and Comfort

As expected, the vehicle is equipped with front seats that offer electric adjustments and a multitude of functions, along with a climate control system that maintains three distinct temperature zones and satellite navigation. The interior boasts fine leather upholstery, a two-tone steering wheel, a sunroof, retractable wooden tables, and xenon headlights, all contributing to a lavish driving experience.

Impressive Performance

From a technical standpoint, the BMW 750iL captivates with its naturally aspirated V12 engine, featuring a displacement of 5.4 liters that generates approximately 324 horsepower. With around 107,000 kilometers on the odometer, this Bavarian limousine still commands a price that exceeds many budgets: €39,500, a testament to its enduring value more than 20 years after its assembly.
