Revamped DIGI Applications for Enhanced User Experience
At the end of January, DIGI | RCS & RDS unveiled updated versions of its Digi Romania and Digi Online applications for Android users.
Streamlined Interface and Enhanced Features
The latest iterations of the Digi Romania and Digi Online apps boast a refreshed interface that simplifies the login and registration processes. A notable addition is the child viewing mode, designed to provide a safer and more controlled viewing experience for younger audiences. Furthermore, Digi Online is now integrated with the Digi Romania app and supports Chromecast functionality, allowing for seamless streaming on larger screens.
Security Enhancements for User Access
To ensure secure access to the Digi code, users are required to set up a personal security code. This feature has been rolled out to a select group of users initially, aimed at enhancing their experience and addressing any potential issues.
How to Access the Updated Versions
To take advantage of these optimized versions, users must update their applications via the Google Play Store. By the end of January, all customers will have the opportunity to download the latest updates.

DIGI | RCS & RDS is also preparing a new version of the applications for iOS device users. In tandem, the Digi Online website (https://digionline.ro) has undergone a redesign to facilitate easier navigation.
Child-Friendly Viewing and Simplified Access
Another exciting feature is the introduction of a child-friendly viewing mode, along with a more straightforward registration and login process, making it easier for users to manage their individual accounts.
Extensive Content Offerings
Digi Online provides access to a diverse range of video content, including 60 TV channels that cover news, movies, animated series, and both national and international general-interest channels. For customers subscribed to DigiTV and Digi NET, this service is offered free of charge, in accordance with the terms set by RCS & RDS S.A. and in compliance with current European legislation.
Geographic Limitations and Unique Offerings
It is important to note that Digi Online is not accessible outside Romania. The platform also features the exclusive Ultra HD channel, Digi 4K, along with Digi 24, Digi Sport channels 1 through 4, the pay-TV movie channel Film Now, and thematic channels such as Digi World, Digi Life, and Digi Animal World. Additionally, music channels like UTV, Music Channel, and Hit Music, as well as radio stations including Pro FM, Digi FM, Chill FM, and Dance FM, are also available.
