Centrele de zi dedicate persoanelor cu dizabilităţi se redeschid de luni

In Sector 6, day centers for individuals with disabilities are set to reopen starting Monday.
„Approximately 100 individuals, including both children and adults with disabilities, will resume rehabilitation and recovery activities at specialized centers managed by the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection in Sector 6, effective June 22,” stated a local authority announcement.
The reopening will occur gradually, adhering to hygiene protocols in line with current regulations. To mitigate the risk of viral transmission, the centers will be equipped with:
– Hand sanitizer dispensers at the entrance,
– Disinfectant mats placed at entry points,
– Hand and surface disinfectant solutions,
– Air purifiers,
– UV filters,
– Protective gloves,
– Disposable face masks.
Each center will primarily conduct sessions either individually or in small groups. Currently, meal services and nap times will not be available; instead, the focus will be on recovery services such as educational interventions, tailored therapies, psychological support for both children and adults, and parental counseling.
Access to the centers will be strictly by appointment, following a thorough health assessment of the beneficiaries by the center specialists. Sessions will last between two to three hours each day.
Upon entering the centers, each individual will undergo a temperature check, which must not exceed 37.3 degrees Celsius, and will be provided with sanitizing materials for hand disinfection. If any symptoms associated with COVID-19 (such as cough, fever, sneezing, or sore throat) are present, beneficiaries, their guardians, or legal representatives will be sent home and advised to consult their family doctor.
Appointments will be staggered to minimize interactions among adults and children with disabilities, with a 30-minute interval between appointments for ventilation and/or disinfection. Activities will also take place outdoors, with groups limited to a maximum of eight participants.
The DGASPC Sector 6 assures parents that every effort is being made to ensure that activities are conducted
