# Opportunities to Acquire Older Vehicles Through ANAF Auctions
Source: Financiarul.ro

## Government Auctions of Older Vehicles
The Romanian government, via ANAF, is auctioning off vehicles older than eight years at prices significantly lower-often two to three times less-than what another state agency might pay to scrap them in the future.
## Recent Trends in Vehicle Purchases
Approximately 30,000 new cars were purchased by Romanians through the Rabla program, which quickly exhausted its budget within just two months of its launch. The state allocated 6,500 lei for each vehicle scrapped under this initiative. Now, buyers have the chance to acquire even older vehicles from ANAF, potentially in worse condition than those they previously disposed of.
